I had to move my room 7 times before we found a room the didn't smell of sewage, or where the key-card worked or wasn't noisy! Cleaners make the beds by just throwing the covers over the beds and pillows and don't check the amount of towels the leave. 2 teabags and milk, coffee etc is ridiculous to leave in a room! Why not just leave enough for the guests stay based on 2 cups per person per day. Other than Peter who was very helpful with the room problem when I arrived, the staff are barely visible. The hotel is really tired looking and there is no real draw to stay there.

This premier inn was not the best I have stayed at. Must note: there was refurbishing work in first floor. The room it self was dated and worn. The bed was fine, and typical premier inn bed which normally are comfortable. However, the room was filthy. There were spiders webs and I counted 5 spiders around the room. Also, the dust was thick in places which clearly shows lack of cleanliness. I think ill avoid this premier inn in the future.

Another amazing stay. Being modernised at the moment but no issues as workmen very discreet. Warm and genuine welcome as always from Tracy and bev. Just love the coffees and biccies they offer for free. Restaurant very very quiet and dull . Actually quite boring so went out instead. No fault of Natalie in the pub just wanted something a bit livelier. Be back again in about 6 weeks looking forward to going into a brand new room...it's been long overdue . Now sort out the pub staff don't want to be working in there under those circumstances

Another lovely stay! Hotel is always clean , tidy & the staff are just amazing! Nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay comfortable. Room was clean . Bev on reception is always so welcoming and friendly & always ensures everything with our stay goes smoothly . Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The facilities were comfortable, the atmosphere was pleasant, and everything was well maintained. What truly made our experience exceptional was the warm and professional welcome from Ghizlane. She took the time to listen to us, offered thoughtful advice, and went out of her way to make sure we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Her kindness, availability, and attention to detail made a real difference. We highly recommend this hotel and sincerely thank Ghizlane for her outstanding hospitality.

Another good stay at this hotel. An ideal location and a very comfy bed. Just starting to show signs that's it need a refresh. The standard of cleaning could be a little better. All of this did not affect our great stay.

Spacious room in an accommodation block set back from the road so quiet. In the process of being refurbed and probably needs it but perfectly functional and can't knock it for the price

Old, tired, grubby, unloved. Possibly the worst Premier Inn I have stayed in. Having said that the staff were lovely. It felt like they were over compensating for the areas where the hotel lacked. In my opinion, it looked like the hotel was due to be sold or demolished very soon.

The room was good as premier inns are. The breakfast was really disappointing. This was not help yourself buffet and it was disgraceful with the sausages barely being cooked. The eggs were disgusting and there was no plates for the toast and no staff asked how everything was. It was a lovely staff untill. We had or actually didn't eat breakfast

A recent, visit at short notice to the Peterborough area necessitated an overnight stop at the Premier Inn, Peterborough North. I rate Premier Inns, but have to say I found this one a bit tired and run down. Good points - staff (front of house and in the restaurant) were welcoming and friendly. My room was spacious and spotless. The location (for me, at least) was spot on. Not so good points - service in the restaurant was painfully slow, despite it not being that busy. On entry, my room was cold - not very welcoming. The heating wasn't even on tick over and, and on a bleak autumnal late afternoon the window had been left as open as it could be. The telly blinked off and on. I'll still stay loyal to Premier Inns, but if I ever have to visit this neck of the woods again (highly unlikely) I'll try another of their venues.
